Some great close-ups of the layered rocks of Meridiani Planum are being sent back by Oppy now… here’s an anaglyph image I made by combining two raw images… just look at the detail visible on those plates and sheathes of rock… click on the pic below to bring up a full-size image that shows how, although the martian wind might well be meek, give it enough time to work on soft stone like this and it creates beautiful shapes… 🙂
