The sharper-eyed amongst you will have spotted a new pic at the top of this blog (you didn’t? Go ahead, flick your eyes to the top of the page and look. It’s okay, we’ll wait for you, go ahead… There you go…) . That’s a fantastic mosaicpanorama (far better than anything I was able to make out of the latest raw images!) by UMSF’s mhoward, who is also the programming genius behind the Midnight Mars Browser software and a host of great spacey apps for iWhatevers ( http://midnightmartian.com ). Many thanks for that! 🙂 I love how we have a small crater (Santa Maria) in the foreground and the huge, huge crater of Endeavour on the horiaon in the deep background.
We’ll be tootling around those big rocks soon, then we’ll see some AMAZING images, I’m sure… 🙂
