A better view of “San Antonio”…

Since you last visited, Oppy has moved a bit further around the “Twin craters” – now officially known as “San Antonio” –

…and she now has a much better view of the double impact feature.

I’m still not convinced there’s a great deal to see here, and think that Oppy will be on her way soon.

In the meantime, we can enjoy this lovely view of the distant hills (click to enlarge, of course)…

So… why “San Antonio”?

“San Antonio” crater is named after another island in the Philipines, which itself was named after another of Ferdinand Magellan’s exploration fleet. Click on the image below to see just where San Antonio is, courtesy of Google Earth…
