The MER science team must have got all the data they can from the fascinating rocks of Whitewater Lake and its surroundings, because new images show that Oppy is on the move again!
She’s now working her way further uphill on the eastern flank of Cape York, towards another area littered with rocks and exposed outcrops…
Lots of science to do there, I think! But where exactly *is* ‘there’?
Let’s take a look at Oppy’s new position, first by looking back along the route she took to get here…
Then, uphill towards Whitewater Lake…
…and now Oppy has turned north (roughly) towards a new area of rocks…
In hunt of clays? We’ll have to wait and see…
