What would it be like to walk alongside Oppy as she trundles around Santa Maria crater? Well, I can show you… sort of… ish… 😉
Here’s an animation I made yesterday, adding together more than 20 small Oppy images to make a short film showing Oppy’s view as she drove towards Yuma. It’s not perfect by any means, and of course it’s speeded up (Oppy doesn’t move anywhere near this quickly!), but I think it’s kind of cute, and it’s always great to see the martian landscape rolling past, isn’t it?
Oppy is parked up now, as you know, and here’s a rather nice view she enjoyed of the Santa Maria skyline the other sol…
